Are You Marketing Yourself?

One of the biggest questions of anybody who is self employed is “Am I Marketing Myself Enough?”. Most times the answer is no. Marketing yourself can be a full time job, especially if you aren’t sure where to start or what to do. I can give you some basics to get you started in marketing yourself correctly.

Branding, branding, branding! Have you created a branding for yourself? You should have an original branding with a logo, a nice picture of yourself, and even a catch phrase. All of your social media accounts, websites, and business cards should all have the same information and branding.

Your social media accounts are a great tool to get yourself exposure. There are multiple social media platforms, and you should be active on them! Posting once in awhile is not enough. If you are only posting your open houses once a month on your personal Facebook page, this is not enough. If you want to gain followers, and keep them, you need to have relevant and helpful content consistently.

Know your niche! Do you have a specialty? What certifications do you have? If you are focused on helping seniors own a home, make yourself known to the senior community. If you are great with buyers, focus your energy on letting them know who you are and how you can help.

Still aren’t sure where to start, or how to continue? We can help! Our goal is to help you reach your goals while freeing up your time for things you really want to do. If you are interested in more information, or for a FREE Business Analysis, call us at 202-469-6774.

Beat Cabin Fever

Whether it is cold where you are, or maybe just rainy, winter activities are a must! The most important aspect of a winter activity is that you can do it no matter what the weather is! If you are starting to feel cabin fever taking over, we are here to help!

No matter what age your kids, or you are, there is always time for indoor fun! How about trying out some new baking recipes? Who doesn’t love fresh baked cookies? Or how about fresh bread? Both would probably win!

Do you like playing games? Now is the time for Monopoly, or any other game you put off until you have more time. If you have the space you could even leave the game out and play it for a few days on and off. Another great game to play is cards. There are so many different choices that you can play something different every day.

Have a pajama day! Everybody stays in their PJs, lounges around, and watches movies all day. It can be fun for everybody, and relaxing.

You can spend the day doing things you never have time to do. Do your nails, take an extra long bath, or even take a nap. Anything that you love to do that you always put off, do it! Today is the day.

If you have younger kids, have an indoor camping adventure. Light the fireplace if you have one, set up the tent in the living room, roast marshmallows, and tell campfire stories! This could be fun for the whole family.

Have you been stuck inside? What do you do to avoid cabin fever? Our goal is to help you reach your goals while freeing up your time for things you really want to do. If you are interested in more information, or for a FREE Business Analysis, call us at 202-469-6774.

What is a Virtual Assistant?

You have gotten busy at work and are overwhelmed with all of the work you have to do, but don’t have time for. Or maybe you want to start working on things, such as online marketing, that you aren’t sure how to do. Whatever the reason, you have come to this post by searching for information on Virtual Assistants.  So what is a virtual assistant (VA), and how can they help you?

Virtual assistants are becoming increasingly more popular every year. More people are working from home, and more people are saving on overhead by using a VA who works from home. Virtual assistants are mostly independent contractors, and not employees. There are individuals who can market themselves as virtual assistants and do all of their own work. And then there are companies, such as BizEBee Virtual Assistants, that have a “staff” of virtual assistants who they contract work out to.

Virtual assistants can offer a variety of skill sets depending on what you are looking for. If you are looking for somebody to do your administrative work, such as organizing your emails, responding to emails, and maybe even sending out mailings, you may be able to use one VA for all of that. If you are looking on more of a broad spectrum, you may want to look into a company who has many virtual assistants who work with them.  The reason for this is that nobody can know everything there is to know. If you have a team of VA, there will be somebody within that team who can accomplish what you are looking for. In this way it is much better to hire a virtual assistant company.

At BizEBee Virtual Assistants, we work mostly with real estate professionals. Real estate is a very demanding business and includes many different aspects. This can include marketing, transaction coordination, listings, branding, calling, and database management. One person may not know how to accomplish all of these items. How it would work is that your Dedicated Assistant will find the virtual assistant within the company who excels at a specific task. This person would complete the specific task. The main benefit of using a virtual assistant company is that there will always be somebody who can do the specified task for you.

If you are still curious about virtual assistants, or have any questions, please contact us. You can visit our website at www.bizebeerealestate.com. Our goal is to help you reach your goals while freeing up your time for things you really want to do. Are You Prepared for Severe Weather?

The past few years have been full of adverse weather conditions. There have been floods, blizzards, earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes. All of these have taken people by surprise, and their lives have suffered. There are some ways you can start preparing for adverse weather.

The most important thing is to be prepared. Make sure you watch the news, the weather, and local social media sites. This will ensure that you know what is coming. If you are aware in advance, you can become prepared in advance.

So how do you prepare for something you aren’t sure will come? You assume it will come. It is better to be safe than sorry. If a possible flood is coming your way, make sure you clear your basement the best you can, secure your home, and prepare to be stuck in your house if it comes to that. This means preparing your generator, food and water supplies, and battery operated radios and flashlights. If it is snow, make sure you have supplies need for that. No matter what the weather forecast, make sure you are prepared with the recommended supplies.

Always have a family emergency plan in place. If you have family at work, at school, or traveling, it is a good idea to have a plan in place and know that you are all on the same page. You can find information on making a family plan Here.

If you are expecting high winds, go around your home and make sure items are secured, grills are covered, and shutters are closed if you have them. It is also a good idea to keep items from being pushed up against your house because animals may take shelter there and eventually work their way into your home.  Use tarps to cover items that you can’t easily secure, and bring items inside if possible.

Are you ready for the next bought of severe weather? Our goal is to help you reach your goals while freeing up your time for things you really want to do. If you are interested in more information, or for a FREE Business Analysis, call us at 202-469-6774.
